Plastic Extrusion is the transformation of plastic mass converted into a shape that can be produced or converted into usable products. Plastic extrusion is a continuous process of converting plastic mass or pellets into a melted form which is pushed through a die into a shape which is moved through various secondary operations until it is cooled and pelletized. The extruder’s job is to transform the solid plastic mass or feed stock into a melted form.

MGPL Co-rotating Twin Screw Extruder uses two screws which intermesh and rotate in the same direction. They are used to transform a solid mass into a melt. The extruder screws are also known as the heart of the extruder because if the extruder screws do not perform at an optimum level, the rest of extrusion process will suffer.
